NESA Energy is proud to announce an exclusive partnership with Merlin to represent them on the Norwegian continental shelf, supporting operators with valuable experience and expertise.
The collaboration began with Merlin supporting NESA Energy with torque and drag analysis, to optimize placement of the innovative RotaMAX casing swivel. Since the partnership was established, almost a year to the day, Merlin has provided the same high quality modelling support for all RotaMAX tool simulations, including pre-job modelling of a recent successful run in Norway under extremely challenging downhole conditions.
NESA Energy recognizes that Merlin’s combination of practical engineering knowledge in complex drilling environments and communication ability, developed during the training thousands of well engineering professionals globally has made a meaningful impact on the business. It seemed like a natural next step for both companies to formalize the collaboration, allowing the organizations to benefit from the technical skills, business development networks and growth opportunities brought by each partner.
